How Does Intense Pulsed Light Work for Dry Eye?
July 31, 2022
Do you know the importance of tears? They are the body’s natural way of keeping the eyes lubricated, moist, and comfortable. When you blink, a film of tear fluid covers the eye’s surface at a certain thickness for a given period of time. That is what experts call tear stability.
What is Keratinization?
April 25, 2022
Keratinization is a biofilm that we naturally build up that is made up of debris from our tears which happens to sit along our waterline and often blocks our meibomian glands from secreting the natural oils that we need on the surface of the eye. It is particularly important to keep the top of our oil glands free from any debris build up, so they can function properly and secrete that oil we need within our tears for better comfort of the eyes.

Meibomian Gland Dysfunction(MGD): What Is It?
May 19, 2021
Meibomian glands are the tiny oil glands that line the margin of the eyelids, the edges that touch when your eyes close, on both upper and lower lids. These glands secrete oil, called meibum, which coats the surface of the eye and keeps our tears from evaporating quicker than they should. The more oil-secreting out of those glands, the more comfort your eyes are going to experience!
